Quietude or Substitute?
I'm ordering yarn this week and I'm wondering how people feel about substitution. Anyone going 100% natural fiber?
A knitalong to translate and knit the beautiful sweater #20 from the Automne 05/06 issue of Phildar Tendances (French to English!)

Hi,
Just thought you might be interested to know. I am using Jaeger matchmaker merino aran. The gauge is the same sts wise but the row is a bit off. I got the last of the cream shade at PersonalThreads. However, there is a bunch of them on auction by ebay seller suzysheepshop

I have to say the quietude isn't that great...it unravels easily. Somewhere someone said that the phildar patterns are great, but the yarns aren't such good quality. I tend to agree, however I haven't gotten very far yet!!!

I've heard the same about Phildar yarns, I try to buy better blends without too much acrylic if I can help it, I just knit with a phildar wool/cashmire blend and it was heaven!
